A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries yesterday following a two-vehicle collision in Lowton.
The emergency services were called to reports of a serious collision on Slag Lane, at around 3.50pm on Wednesday, May 3.
Police, paramedics, and the fire service attended the scene where a Nissan Ariya Evolve and a Ford saloon had collided, and one of the vehicle occupants was taken to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.

The North West Ambulance service has now confirmed that an 18-year-old involved in the crash was taken to hospital to be treated for "major trauma".
Major traffic disruption was reported around the area yesterday as Slag Lane was closed for around three hours while officers dealt with the incident.
A section of the route between Byrom Lane and Garton Drive was sealed off by officers while the casualty was treated and debris was cleared up.
