SEVERAL vehicles have been seized by police around Leigh over the past week, in connection with drugs, theft, and insurance offences.
Following a number large number of reports regarding vehicle crime and antisocial driving in the Bickershaw and Platt Bridge areas, neighbourhood police officers have been patrolling crime hot spot areas.
Anti-social behaviour and off-road bikes have been commonly reported in the area, and officers recovered a stolen moped vehicle on Bickershaw Lane on Monday, February 19.

A second vehicle was stopped by officers in Hindley after a "history of anti-social use".
The driver was arrested in connection with two drug related offences, while the Vauxhall Corsa was seized by officers as the driver was also reported to be uninsured.
A White BMW 1 Series was seized by officers in Abram this week as it was found to have been displaying fraudulent plates and the driver was not insured.
An off-road bike was also seized around Platt Bridge after reports that it was being used in an anti-social manner.
