JAMES Laithwaite is in the running to make his debut for Leigh Centurions against York on Friday, kick off 8pm.
The 20-year-old full-time Warrington Wolves back rower has joined Paul Rowley’s outfit on dual registration terms.
He has impressed in the youth ranks at the Super League club for a number of years, helping their under 20s team to reach the Grand Final and lift the Rugby League 9s trophy last year.
The former Crosfields amateur also represented England Academy in their series win against Australia Schoolboys at Leigh Sports Village in 2010, winning the man-of-the-match award in the first game.
