MICHAEL HARRISON (81) after a long struggle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, passed away peacefully in Wigan & Leigh Hospice on Sunday 14th January 2018. Michael is survived by his wife Patricia, Daughter Helen & Granddaughter Niamh. The funeral is to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Boothstown on TUESDAY 30th JANUARY 2018 at 2.00 pm, the committal will be at 3.15 pm at Howe Bridge Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards at Astley & Tyldesley Miners Welfare (Gin Pit). The room will be available from 3pm. Family flowers only please, should you wish donations can be made to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis www.justgiving.com/helen-mckenna7 or via cheque to the family.
