THOMAS BATE (TOMMY) On the 7th April 2018 peacefully at his home in Atherton TOMMY aged 96 years - Burma Star Veteran of World War 2, Beloved Husband of the Late MARGARET, much loved Uncle of Doreen, Gillian, Barbara, Christopher, Katherine, David and Gillian and a very dear Neighbour & special friend to many. Funeral service to take place on Thursday 26th April 2018 at St Michael & All Angels Church Howebridge at 1.30 pm to be followed by interment at Howebridge Cemetery at 2.15 pm. Family flowers only please donations in Tommy's memory in aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice may be handed to the immediate family.
