PHILIP NORMAN DIXON 09/03/1940 - 27/05/2020 With great sadness we announce the loss of Philip, beloved husband, father and grandfather. Philip was highly respected as headmaster of Newton West Park Primary School and teacher at Leigh CE Juniors. His knowledge, dedication and kindness were prized by all. He will be sorely missed. Private funeral service will take place on Thursday 11th June 2020 at Overdale Crematorium West Chapel. Family flowers only by request, donations in memory gratefully accepted by Alzheimer's Society.
