MARGARET ANNE KEANE (nee WATERWORTH) of Lowton passed away on the 2nd September, aged 78. Adored Wife and Mother of Billy, Bill and Tony, Grandmother to Liam, Alice, Caitlin and Kirsty. Sister to Jack, Nancy, Eric, Tom and Joan. Mother in Law to Wendy and Sandrine and much loved Aunty, Sister in Law and friend to many who will miss her very much. The funeral was held at St. Luke's, Lowton on September 15th. Donations appreciated to https://www.macmillan.org.uk/donate. Now wus time, I waited all week for this. She would hum a little tune then she'd start to sing. The voice of an angel soft and sweet, out it would ring. The sewing shid set aside an she'd lift me on her knee And sing to me her favourite song, the Roses Of Picardy. If only I could have just one more Saturday night, But only memories now i 'av Of mi Mam an me. M. A. Keane.
