ELIZABETH REED (Betty) It is with sadness that we announce the passing away in Wigan Infirmary, on December 20th 2020, of Elizabeth (Betty) Reed, aged 81 years, formerly of Hanover St, Leigh. Beloved wife of the late Brian Reed, dearly loved mum of Susan, Heather, June and Martyn, and a very dear mother-in-law, also a much-loved grandma and great grandma and a dear sister to Barbara, Walter and the late Ernie. Service to take place at Howe Bridge Crematorium on Friday 15th January at 11.00am. Sadly, due to current covid restrictions, only those invited may attend. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Betty may do so by sending it directly to the Oesophageal Patient Association Cancer Charity at www.opa.org.uk The cortege will travel from the funeral directors to the crematorium via Hanover street, Leigh.
