Cllr LORD PETER ( PETER RICHARD CHARLES) SMITH On August 2nd 2021 peacefully at home. Much loved younger son of the late Ronald and Kathleen Smith and brother to the late Robin. Beloved husband to Joy and father to Anna. Much loved and respected brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and colleague. Funeral to be held on Friday 27th August at Leigh Parish Church. Cortege from the family home at 12 midday, via Leigh town centre and Leigh Sports Village prior to the church service at 12.30pm. Committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium with family and close friends.
