OAKES Kathleen Sadly passed away in Wigan Infirmary on 8th November 2021, aged 79, after a long and very brave battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the recently deceased Frank, much-loved mum to Stephen & Trish, cherished grandma to Ethan & William, and loving sister to Derek and forever young Ernest. The funeral service will take place at 3-15pm on Monday 22nd November at St Michael & All Angels Church, Howe Bridge, followed by committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium at 4-00pm. Family flowers only. All donations will go to the Three Wishes Charity Cancer Care Fund at Wigan Infirmary.
