BLENKINSHIP Angela Mary (Nee Heaps) Angela died peacefully at home on 15th September aged 69 years. Devoted and loving Mum to 'her girls' Beth and Rachel, incredible mother-in-law to Rob, loving sister to Vivienne, and surrogate 'Nannie B' to Sephy and Gwinnie. Angela dedicated her life to caring and supporting other people, firstly as a Social Worker and then a Family Counsellor at the Children's Hospitals in Manchester. She was also a Governor at St Joseph's Primary School in Leigh for 27 years a role that she was passionate about and being involved in the school and the wider St Joseph's Parish Community brought her so much joy. Angela was also the heart of youth arts charity Double R Arts where she inspired and encouraged so many children and young people over the last 10 years. She was very much loved and will be dearly missed, by many family and friends. Angela will now be reunited with her beloved husband Ron, who passed away 10 years ago, and comfort is found knowing that they will be together again. Requiem Mass will be at St Joseph's Church on Saturday 8th October at 10am, followed by a private committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations would be greatly appreciated to either Wigan and Leigh Hospice or Double R Arts.
