SHAW Ben (Bernard) Peacefully on the 25th February 2023 aged 80 years. A devoted husband to Christine, cherished dad to Tracey, Dean and Michaela. Special father-in-law to Paula, loving grandad to Mia, Kieran, Callum and Corey. A good friend to many. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 14th March at 10am at St Pauls Church, Westleigh which then will be followed by a burial at Leigh cemetery. Family invite you to celebrate the life of Ben at The Subby Club, Pownall Street, Leigh. All enquries to Sankey and Monks 01942 673171.

So sorry to read of Ben’s death. He was a great friend and support to my partner Dennis Thorpe for which I am very grateful. He always had a smile and a joke although he was in such pain .
Please pass on my sympathies to all the family, especially Tracey, Callum and Corey who were neighbours of ours.
