MOLYNEAUX Philip Suddenly on 18th March 2023, at Wigan Infirmary, Phil aged 63 years. Beloved husband to Mandy, much loved dad to Gary, Amie, Ann and James. Cherished grandad to George and Charlie, loving brother to Susan, a very dear uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law. Funeral service will take place on Friday 14th April 2023 at All Saints Church Hindley at 10am, followed by committal at Hindley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Phil can be made to Christies Salford or British Heart Foundation which can be passed to the immediate family. Mourners are invited to wear a touch of black or red. All enquiries to Sankey & Monks Funeral Service 01942 673171.

So sad to hear of Phil’s passing, a leader and enjoyable colleague to work with, possessing a great sense of humour as well an encourager to others. A big man in every sense, well able to laugh at himself and see the sometimes ridiculous side of academe. A big loss to his Banking discipline and academic colleagues, a great networker on behalf of Bangor University and highly respected by his legions of students around the world.
