SMITH Irene (nee Lally) Passed away peacefully on Friday 2nd August 2024. Irene was a much loved mum to Mark & Lee, mother-in-law to Denise & Emma, devoted grandma to Nicola, Michael, Laura, Jasmine, Lewis, Lottie & Charlie, great grandma to Ava, Lucy, Ezra, Alfie & Emelia. Much loved sister & auntie to many. Irene will be sadly missed by her family & friends & the local community which she did so much for. The funeral service will take place at St Andrews Church, Springfield, Wigan on Friday 23rd August 2024 at 3.00pm followed by committal at Wigan Crematorium, Lower Ince, Wigan. Donations are being kindly accepted in memory of Irene in lieu of flowers at Wigan & Leigh Hospice.
