A BOUTIQUE creative and digital design agency is driving big ideas for big brands from its new base in Atherton.
Shape is the latest company to make Gibfield Enterprise Centre its home, after relocating from its original base in Manchester city centre.
Childhood friends Andy Golpys and Jason Mayo founded Shape and the company has experienced a period of rapid growth over the past 12 months, bringing in new personnel to support an ever increasing portfolio.
Andy, who is originally from Atherton, said: "From starting with practically no clients three years ago to where we are now, we quickly found ourselves outgrowing our old home in Manchester.
"It wasn't the ideal space for a creative company - it didn't feel like a design studio.
"It was half office, half exhibition space, so people were just walking in off the street, straight through our workspace.
"Coming to Atherton and the Enterprise Centre made perfect sense - the position on the map is perfect for us commuting from home and we got a new, well equipped studio that we could really make our own."
The team of four designers and digital developers boasts a client base which includes Selfridges & Co, Harvey Nichols and Blackberry.
Shape was welcomed by John Burns, enterprise and estates manager for Wigan Metropolitan Development Company.
He said: "We're delighted to have Shape join us at Gibfield Investment Centre. They're a young, vibrant agency with some fantastic projects and clients.
"Attracting companies like Shape show the real benefits Atherton can provide to established and growing businesses alike."
