A QUESTION and answer session about the guided busway has been criticised for avoiding ‘difficult’ questions.
Residents were asked to submit questions on Twitter for Peter Boulton, head of programme management services at Transport for Greater Manchester, to answer on Monday evening.
But residents complained that ‘real’ questions were not being answered while one from @Mark_Doubt: Which would win? A bus or a shark? received a response.
Stephen Trowbridge wrote on Facebook: ‘A complete waste of time. Questions not answered (ignored ) and cherry picking the ones he wanted to answer.’
@Mark_Doubt all depends - on a guideway, a bus and in water, probably a shark. #AskPeterB

Mr Boulton said: “I was very pleased to be able to answer so many questions from residents during the Twitter Q&A on the bus priority scheme.
“The questions were coming in thick and fast and I replied to as many as I could during the two-hour session.
“I’ll make sure that there is an FAQ section added to our website shortly, with responses to as many of the other questions as possible.
