A NEW steakhouse opening in September is set to create 45 jobs.
The Miller and Carter Steakhouse restaurant is replacing the Toby Carvery on Newton Road, Lowton, which is closing on August 5.
The building will then be refurbished, with the restaurant set to open on September 15.
The national Miller and Carter Steakhouse chain already has 20 staff members in situ for the new venture and is looking to recruit 25 more.
Anyone interested in working in the kitchen, front of house or as a bartender who can shake up a cocktail and match wines to steaks is invited to go along to recruitment sessions the Miller and Carter Steakhouse in Westbrook, Warrington, tomorrow and on Saturday.
Tomorrow's session will be held between 6pm and 9pm while on Saturday it will run from noon to 3pm.
Dan Hagley, regional business manager at Miller and Carter Lowton, said: “Everyone who works for us are completely obsessed with steak so we are keen to recruit people who share in our love for excellent quality, both in food and service.
“We want our new staff to become official steak geeks.”
