THOUSANDS lined the streets on Saturday to watch some of the world's best cyclists in action.
The final stage of the 2019 OVO Energy Tour travelled through Hindley, Hindley Green, Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley with residents cheering the riders on.
The 165km route began in Altrincham and passed through all 10 Greater Manchester boroughs before finishing in Deansgate.

Leader of Wigan Council, Cllr David Molyneux, said: “It was fantastic to welcome the UK’s most prestigious cycling event to the borough.
"It was great to see so many businesses, residents, community groups and schools get involved and offer the riders a warm welcome - a huge thank you to everyone for supporting the day.”
Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel, 24, was crowned tour champion after winning the race by beating his compatriot Cees Bol in a sprint finish.
It was van der Poel's third stage victory.
