TWO men were assaulted near a former bank building in the early hours of this morning, Friday.
Police were called to King Street in Leigh shortly before 3am where two men were found with head injuries outside the former Yorkshire Bank property.
They were then taken to hospital. One of the victims has been released while the other is still receiving medical care.
There was a cordon in place and enquiries are ongoing to confirm the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
No arrests have been made.

Traffic was building nearby as the cordon stretched into the road.
