A PRIMARY school which was closed on Thursday and yesterday, Friday, has confirmed two parents have coronavirus.
Garrett Hall Primary School in Tyldesley shut for two days for a deep clean and told parents that a pupil's family had come into contact with two people who have the virus, COVID-19.
And in a letter to parents and carers yesterday, Friday, head teacher Tracy Beaty said two parents "are confirmed cases of COVID-19".
But both of their children are showing no signs of having the virus and are self-isolating for 14 days.

Mrs Beaty said: "I can now confirm that both parents are confirmed cases of COVID-19 virus.
"Both of their children are showing no signs of any symptoms related to the virus and are continuing to self-isolate for 14 days.
"I have been in contact with Public Health England, Public Health Wigan and the Department for Education.
"The advice given is that we do not need to take any further action other than that taken already.
"If the current situation changes and there are further confirmed cases within our school community, I will seek additional advice.
"The Year 4 residential trip to Rock and River next week will go ahead as planned unless you receive any further information from myself.
"School will reopen as planned on Monday."
Yesterday, Friday, Wigan Council said there are three confirmed cases of coronavirus in the borough.
