A FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl has pleaded guilty to an assault in Leigh.

The girl, a Romanian national, appeared at Wigan and Leigh Youth Court.

The teenager, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to an assault of a male in Leigh which happened on May 6, 2020.

She also pleaded guilty to damaging a custody suite pillow to the value of £30 on the same date.

The case was adjourned while a pre-sentence report is prepared.

The girl is due to appear back in court on November 5 and has been granted conditional bail until then.
