A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a two car collision in Atherton this morning.
At around 7.50am on Monday, January 10, police were called to a report of a crash at Alder Street, near High Street, where two cars had collided.
A passenger from one of the vehicles was taken to hospital after the incident, but has since been discharged.
Road closures were reportedly in place on High Street while officers attended the scene, which have now been removed.
Confirming the details of the incident, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said:
"At 7.52am this morning (10 January) police were called to a report of a two vehicle RTC on Alder Street, Atherton.
"Officers attended the scene and a passenger of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital as a precaution but has since been discharged.
"No other serious injuries were reported [and] no arrests have been made."
