A CONSTRUCTION equipment company from Leigh has been named as one of the fastest growing companies across the UK.
Aspire Platforms, based on Leigh Business Park, was ranked 11th in the Sunday Times 100 Fastest Growing Privately Owned Companies, making it the second highest company across the North West.
Rapidly becoming one of the UK’s most reputable hire equipment providers, Aspire had a sales growth of 220% within the last year, in a sector that saw a third of companies averaging a 14% sales decline.
The company was founded as Aspire Platforms Ltd in July 2018 in Greater Manchester, and quickly built up a strong customer base across the North-West.
Scaling up its operations, the business opened up their own depot in Yorkshire in 2019 and set up a holding company, named 'Aspire Group', the following year following the acquisition of London Tower Services (LTS).
The acquistion and re-brand of LTS enabled the Leigh-based company to stretch further across the UK and has resulted in building a fleet of over 2000 powered access platforms and alternative low-level access products, assets which total around £12million.
Self-proclaimed "working at height specialists", 99.4% of their equipment, from heavy machinery to small tools, is electric or hybrid, and they now service more than 6000 active customers.
Due to their rapid growth, they have recently moved into their third new Headquarters and have expanded in West London and the Midlands.
With ongoing success in the construction industry, Aspire look to recruit another 70-100 employees in the next 12 months.
