EMERGENCY services were called after a van crashed into a lamppost this morning.
At around 5am on Friday, October 21, officers were called to the scene of a collision on the East Lancashire Road.
Close to the Greyhound Hotel in Leigh, a van was found to have collided with a lamppost.
Paramedics attended the scene and the man was treated for minor injuries, and traffic delays were reported while the scene was dealt with.
No crimes were reported and it is not believed that the man went to hospital for his injuries.
