BONFIRE night is approaching with families looking forward to spectacular displays.
To celebrate the festivities, local spots in and around Leigh are getting ready to host their annual displays.
With something for all the family, here are some of the bonfire night events held around Leigh this year.
Leigh Rugby Union
Leigh RUFC's 'Bonfire and Firework Bonanza' takes place on Friday, November 4, from 5pm.
The popular bonfire night will include more than £3000 worth of fireworks, with a huge bonfire also on show to warm up guests.
There will also be Children's entertainment, music, a funfair, and food and drinks available.
Tickets cost £8 and £20 for a family of two adults and two children and can be bought here.
Leigh Cricket Club
Leigh Cricket Club's Fireworks and Food Festival will open its gates to the public at 4pm on Saturday November 5.
The club is set to host a bonfire night festival suitable for all the family, with a DJ, fun fair, and refreshments on offer.
The main event will kick off at 8pm and tickets can be bought here.
Golborne Parkside
Golborne's popular bonfire night returns to the Parkside rugby club on Saturday, November 5.
In addition to their award-winning fireworks and bonfire, the event will include attractions such as a Ghost Train and food and drink vans.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets start at £4 for children and £6 for adults. Tickets can be bought here
St Peter's Pavillon, Hindley
A firework display will take place at St Peter's Pavillon on Sunday, November 6.
The pyro-technicians have a display to light up the skyline of Hindley and promises to provide an amazing display.
An improved funfair will also be on site, as well as live entertainment and food and drink stalls.

Lancashire Mining Museum, Astley
A premium firework display will be taking place at the Lancashire Mining Museum at Astley Green, on Saturday, November 5.
In addition to the fireworks and bonfire on display, there will be fairground rides, performances from Wigan Ukulele band, a 'Bring a Guy competition, and food and drink stalls available.

Haigh Hall Family Spectacular
Haigh Hall's 'family spectacular' will take place on Saturday, November 5, from 5pm.
The event will include a 'fire show' and 'firework finale' as well as creatures from the Blackpool Lagoon and an award-winning magic and LED puppet show.
There will also be live entertainment from popular musicians, an energetic Samba Band, as well as food and drinks from independent traders.
