A HYBRID working space is looking to build on its success in Leigh town centre and expand to reach more local businesses.
Leigh Works, located inside Elizabeth House on Bold Street, just down the road from Bradshawgate, is a modern office that offers desk space, high-tech software, studios, and workshops for local firms and start-ups.
Starting up in 2019, the hub gives companies the space to hot-desk and collaborate with like-minded individuals, and enable start-ups to grow without having to travel into neighbouring towns or cities.

Becoming a community of small businesses and digital creatives in the centre of Leigh, the team have now reached the capacity of members that can work inside the building and are looking to expand.
Steven Tomlinson, founder of Leigh Works, said: "As the paradigm of working has shifted since the pandemic, what we offer works well for a lot of people.
"There's the opportunity to hot desk and work when it's convenient, but there's a lot of collaboration between the different businesses that work here too.
"We've got to the point where we are now at full capacity which shows there is a demand for businesses who want to stay and grow in Leigh."
At present, Leigh Works houses Steven's company Nemiah, a software development company, as well as architects, graphic designers, photographers, laser-cutting manufacturers, and more.
With good partnerships with local schools and colleges, they have also provided apprenticeships at the hub and given talks to pupils about opportunities within their fields.
Alongside their own businesses and collaborative working, the team also have a hand in the Leigh Means Business project, which aims to promote Leigh and attract business and investment into the town.
By growing Leigh Works alongside their other projects, the team hope they can develop Leigh into a place where businesses want to start up and build from.
Steven added: "Leigh Works started as a place to collaborate with other businesses in the town centre.
"As it's grown, we have developed other projects but they all have the same goal to shine a light on businesses in Leigh and to make the town a better place.
"At the end of the day, we want to make Leigh a sustainable place to live and work and keep people in the town rather than travelling to another one."
