A ROAD has been blocked due to a crash this morning, Wednesday.
Atherleigh Way is blocked northbound due to the collision.
There is congestion in the area.
Live traffic tracker Inrix states: "A579 Atherleigh Way Northbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from A580 East Lancashire Road (Lowton) to A572 St Helens Road (Leigh). Congestion to Roads around Leigh."
