POLICE are appealing for information following an alleged robbery where a pensioner was targeted in Atherton.
At around 9.30am on Thursday, September 1, a 92-year-old is reported to have been "pushed to the floor" when the suspect "stole" her purse in Atherton town centre, near the junction with Bullough Street.

The suspect, who was on a pedal bike, then fled the scene while the victim struggled for half an hour to get to their feet.
While the incident was reported back in September, police are appealing for information as no arrests have been made.
