CAR owners woke up to a furious act of vandalism in Leigh this morning with the word "MOVE" spray painted across their vehicles.
On Monday, December 5, photographs of three vandalised cars were shared in Leigh Facebook groups online.
The acts of vandalism and criminal damage are reported to have happened overnight on Glover Street, off Nel Pan Lane.

The photographs show at least three damaged cars parked up on Glover Street, with the windows smashed on two of the vehicles.
With each car appearing to be parked along the street, it appears to be a targeted attack as the word 'MOVE' has been spraypainted across each of the vehicles.
The photographs have sparked a fierce debate on social media.
While not condoning the actions of the vandals, people have aired their frustration about cars parking on the streets and the lack of access this gives to pedestrians.
One reader said this type of parking is "extremely dangerous" for people who have to move into the road to get past vehicles parked on the street.
Others stated that certain streets aren't wide enough to leave enough room for cars to fit through, so parking partly on the kerb is sometimes necessary.
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment on the Glover Street incidents.
