Police have named the 11-year-old boy who died during a road collision while on a bike on Friday afternoon.
Lucas Ashton was involved in the collision with a bus on Vernon Street, Bolton at 1.40pm.
Police attended the incident but the youngster was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family is being supported by specialist officers.
The bus driver remained at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
No arrests have been made but police are still looking to speak to people who were there.
A GMP spokeperson said: "Officers are continuing to appeal to members of the public - particularly passengers who were on the bus in question to please make contact.
