A GREEK takeaway will soon close its doors for the final time after opening in Leigh town centre last summer.
El Greco, a family business based on Railway Road, was opened by Bianca Preda and her family in June 2022.
Serving Greek delicacies such as gyros, skepasti and pita wraps, the takeaway became a quick hit with the local community.

However, in order to look after another food business in Germany, the family will soon be leaving England and close El Greco for good.
As the takeaway has quickly proven popular with customers, Bianca and the family have decided to sell the business, aiming to keep Greek food as an option in Leigh, rather than close the shop for good.
Bianca, 23, said: "It has been a wonderful experience to open El Greco in Leigh.
"It has become a popular takeaway and we had a lot of regular customers who loved the wonderful taste of our Greek food."
Bianca said that the family will train whoever is willing to take the business on, in order to know where to buy authentic Greek products and create the "same wonderful taste".
