A MOTORBIKE and a car were involved in a collision in Leigh this morning (Monday).
Chapel Street, Leigh, was closed in both directions between Brewery Lane and Clifford Street shortly after 7am.
There is slow traffic reported in the area.

A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: "GMP received reports of a road traffic accident between a car and a motorcyclist on Chapel Street in Leigh at around 7.05am on Monday, January 9, 2023.
"Colleagues from NWAS (North West Ambulance Service) also attended but there were no reported injuries.
"The road was closed and re-opened a short time later."
Live traffic tracker Inrix stated at around 7.50am: "Heavy traffic due to accident and restrictions on A572 Chapel Street both ways between Brewery Lane and Clifford Street.
"Sensors detect traffic is able to get past the incident."
