A ROAD has been blocked due to a "police incident", this afternoon, Tuesday.
Market Street, Hindley, is partially blocked both ways, with queueing traffic due to a police incident between Cross Street and Pennington Street.

Live traffic tracker Inrix stated as of 2.30pm: "A58 Market Street both ways partially blocked, queueing traffic due to police incident between A577 Cross Street and Pennington Street.
"Sensors are showing that the road is no longer blocked."
The Journal has approached Greater Manchester Police to ask about the incident.
