HERE is a fantastic picture which depicts workers on their last day at Ward & Golsdstone factory in the early 1980s.
The photograph, which we found in the local archives, was taken on the last day for 77 workers at Ward & Goldstone Factory, in Hindsford, Atherton.
The picture was taken on September 11, 1980, according to the caption information.
