THREE lanes were reported to be blocked following a major crash on the M60.
On Monday, February 20, it has been reported that a collision took place between two cars and a lorry on the M60.
The accident took place around junction 13 at Walkden Road, Worsley, not far from Leigh, Atherton, and Tyldesley on the way in to Manchester.
Severe delays and queueing traffic for eight miles was reported due to the accident.
Congestion was reported from J13 clockwise back to J17 (Prestwich) and back onto the M61 to J3.
Travel time is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
A further breakdown has also been reported within the queues between J17 and J16 that had closed two lanes.
Delays also built on the other side on the M60, back to J7 due to onlookers.
All lanes have since reopened.
