A COMMUNITY market has returned to show off an array of independent businesses and traders in Tyldesley.
The popular Makers Market has returned to Tyldesley town square, on Elliott Street, recently and will have its Easter market on Saturday, April 8.
Each month, residents in Tyldesley have the opportunity to buy freshly baked bread, award winning jams, and homemade cakes and pastries, as well as sampling locally produced cheese and honey from local hives.
There will also be unique hand carved woodwork, silver jewellery, and cruelty-free beauty products offer, as well as products from many more artists and crafters.

With a special Easter event planned, the market on April 8 will also include a free family fun day, with games, an Easter egg hunt, and arts and crafts activities available on the square, hosted by local churches working together.
Kate Coffey from Katka’s Bakehouse said: "It’s been fantastic to see the 2023 Tyldesley Market in full swing again, building on the great legacy from Joanne at Tyldesley Traders.
"Now with advice and support from ‘For Tyldesley’ we are all pulling together as a community to celebrate where we live, and the fantastic products available right here on our high street.”
