A 29-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has died after crashing into a brick gate post last night.
At around 10.50pm last night, Tuesday, April 18, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Rutland Road, Tyldesley.
Greater Manchester Police believe that a motorcyclist lost control of their vehicle before colliding with a brick gate post of a residential address.
The rider, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.
The family of the rider are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses - or anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage - to please get in touch.
