THERE are traffic delays today due to roadworks.
Birkett Bank, in Scholes, Wigan, is seeing delays near to Manchester Road.
Temporary traffic lights are in operation.
Live traffic tracker INRIX states: "Long delays and queueing traffic on Birkett Bank both ways near A577 Manchester Road. In the roadworks area.
"Travel time is around 40 minutes. Temporary traffic lights are in operation."
