A GANG "armed with bricks" has been causing damage along St Helens Road for months, police have said.
On Monday, June 19, Greater Manchester Police announced that they are appealing for information regarding repeated incidents of disorder along St Helens Road.
Officers say that a group of offenders have been increasingly causing damage along the road, close to Gilded Hollins Primary School.

It has been reported that the group is turning up to the area in vehicles and "armed with bricks", so it is believed to be targeted and much more serious than youths causing anti-social behaviour.
One property in particular is being targeted, police say, and officers believe this may be a case of mistaken identity. It is reported to be very frightening for the family involved.
Police are appealing for information about these incidents, and are asking residents with any CCTV footage or information to please contact the Force on 101 or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
