A MAN is reported to have been attacked with a knife in Leigh town centre over the weekend.
Greater Manchester Police reported that a robbery was reported on Lord Street in Leigh, at around 1.56pm on Sunday, July 2.
The victim reported that he was robbed of his electric bike and "slashed with a knife" during the altercation.

While the victim was taken to hospital for treatment on his injuries, they are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a robbery on Lord Street in Leigh on Sunday, July 2, at around 1.56pm.
"A male victim was assaulted and taken to hospital. He suffered injuries which are not believed to be serious or life-threatening."
