A RECKLESS driver who overtook on a bend and crashed into a car with two children in faces jail.
Aiden Dodd ended up on the wrong side of the road on Holcroft Lane in Warrington, which runs between Culcheth and Glazebury, after he decided to overtake two cars on solid white hitting high speeds.
He ended up crashing into a car that contained a woman, an eight-year-old girl, and a two-year-old boy.
He then fled the scene.

As well as causing injuries, the 23-year-old’s dangerous driving also resulted in the family’s car being written off.
Dodd, of Hope Carr Road, Leigh, appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving a motor vehicle without a licence and insurance, and being the driver of a vehicle that failed to stop after a road accident.
But here, magistrates decided that due to the injuries and damage caused, the case should be sent to the crown court.
Dodd, who was 14 previous convictions for 17 offences, will appear before Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing on August 1.
