A MAN'S life was saved by police officers after reports of concerns for his safety in Hindley.
On Saturday, July 1, police Constables Neil Bridgeman, Stephen Heyes, and Amber Dutson attended an incident at Hindley railway station after receiving a Grade 1 report of a concern for safety.
Upon arrival, officers found a man dangerous position at the railway bridge on Ladies Lane.

After engaging in a successful response with the man, the three officers were able to get him to safety.
PCs Bridgeman, Heyes, and Dutson have been widely praised across social media for their efforts in getting the man to safety and saving his life.
