A WOMAN has been sentenced for a string of vehicle offences committed around Atherton.
Last month, Greater Manchester Police announced that Gemma Fletcher, 35, from Atherton, was charged with numerous offences committed around Atherton.
This included 12 counts of vehicle interference, 7 counts of theft from motor vehicle offences and 1 count of fraud by false representation.

The charges relate to an investigation by the Wigan Neighbourhood Crime Team and the Atherton and Tyldesley Neighbourhood Team into overnight vehicle crime in the Gadbury Fold area of Atherton.
Ms Fletcher had been remanded into custody while she waited for a court date at Wigan & Leigh Magistrates Court.
Officers have since confirmed that she has been sentenced to 32 weeks imprisonment.
