A NURSERY has been awarded an 'Outstanding' grade from Ofsted inspectors for the third consecutive time.
Following 'Outstanding' inspections in 2014 and 2018, the Ducklings Day Nursery, on Warrington Road in Leigh, again received top marks following an inspection on October 25.
Inspectors noted that children thrive in an "exceptional setting", where staff put relationships with children at the heart of everything they do.
With a "love and care" ethos, the nursery children are said to receive the "utmost care and attention" from staff, with interactions that are "sensitive and nurturing".

Children are also said to become engrossed in ambitious activities, while "highly qualified" staff members "excellently plan and implement a broad, ambitious curriculum".
The highly attentive" staff deliver "exceptional early learning experiences" at Ducklings, and receive specific training to meet the needs of all children that attend, which included sign language and SEND training.
Early communication and language development is another strong point that the nursery was scored on, while staff were also praised for developing children's independence skills in a "truly positive and nurturing environment", with behaviour and attitudes said to be "excellent".
At Ducklings, staff are said to be "immensely proud to be part of the team" and have "excellent" relationships with parents, while "effective" safeguarding measures are also in place.
