THREE people have been charged for shoplifting and criminal damage offences in Leigh, as a security guard is alleged to have been assaulted.
Greater Manchester Police announced on Sunday, December 17, that Nathan Shaw, 23, Damien McKeown 41, and Mohammad Ghanbari, 33, have all been charged on suspicion of numerous offences.
The fourteen alleged offences between them include 12 counts of shoplifting, 1 offence of criminal damage and 1 offence of assaulting a security guard.
These charges are a result of an antisocial behaviour operation in Leigh town centre, with neighbourhood police officers making the arrests.
The trio all been remanded in custody to appear at court on Monday, December 18.
