A FORENSICS tent was seen erected outside of a property in Leigh this morning.
In the early hours of Monday, December 18, residents reported seeing a police presence, forensics tent, and a cordon outside of a property on Maple Crescent.
Police have now confirmed that the incident is in relation to two reported assaults late on Sunday evening.
Two men are reported to have been rushed to hospital with "serious injuries", and no arrests are reported to have been made as yet.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday, December 17, at around 11:50pm, officers were called to reports of two assaults on Maple Crescent in Leigh.
“Officers attended the scene, and two males were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made at present.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
