OVER recent weeks we have featured some great photographs from places of work from times gone by.
These have included a couple of snaps from Mathers Jam Factory in Golborne from the 1970s.
This time we have dug deep into the archives to find this picture.
According to the local archive records, this is a photograph from Prestwich Parker factory, in Atherton.
The picture depicts a female worker assembling bolts and nuts at the factory.
