A MAN has died following a serious motorcycle crash in Wigan over the weekend.
At around 5pm on Saturday, January 20, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a collision involving two males riding a motorcycle around Hall Lane, which runs from Aspull to Hindley.
A 27-year-old male suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident and despite the efforts of medical professionals, the man is reported to have passed away the following day as a result of his injuries.
A 16-year-old male who was also riding in the vehicle is reported to have only suffered minor injuries.

Initial enquiries suggest that around the two males were on the motorbike when it collided with a fence post on a path off Hall Lane at around 5pm.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
