POLICE have seized a car found to be displaying false plates after reports of a "suspicious vehicle".
Police in Hindley spotted the car after they received reports from the community on Saturday.
The car was found it to be displaying false registration plates and seized.
In a statement, police said: "Hindley Neighbourhood Beat Officers routinely conduct intelligence-led, high visibility, patrols to combat spikes in crime and anti-social behaviour.
"Officers on patrol yesterday, acting on information received from the local community about a suspicious vehicle, spotted the vehicle and found it to be displaying false registration plates. Vehicle seized.
