POLICE have charged a Golborne man after they were called to reports of a burglary at a property.
Officers were alerted to an alleged break-in on Golborne Dale Road, in Newton-le-Willows, on Sunday morning, February 4, at around 11.15am.
Police have confirmed they have since charged a 22-year-old man with burglary.
Adham Khamis, of Heath Street, Golborne, was charged and remanded in custody to appear in court on Monday.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We have charged a 22-year-old man with burglary.
"Adham Khamis, of Heath Street, Golborne, was charged after police were called to reports of a burglary at a property on Golborne Dale Road in Newton-le-Willows at around 11.15am on Sunday, February 4.
"He was remanded into custody to appear in court."
The case at was adjourned until today, Tuesday at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens' Magistrates' Court, for an interpreter to attend.
